Mindfulness of the Body

Session Description:

Our bodies are always working for us, but how often do we work for our bodies? By slowing down and bringing awareness to our own bodies, we give ourselves the chance to bring some peace to our normally scattered minds. Coming back to our bodies and expressing gratitude for a few moments is a radical act of growth and kindness. From there it is easier to be at ease moving throughout our workday.

Session Outline:

  • Learn gentle, accessible ways to bring awareness into your body
  • Understand how crucial the mind-body connection is
  • Begin the process of cultivating a relationship with your body in a trauma-informed way
