Partnership:

Source Wellness works together with the Social Justice Sector by sharing key diversity, equity, inclusion, wellness, and mindfulness (DEIMW) programming with CFC. For example, Source Wellness’ Chief Mindfulness Officer, Jacob Aqua, led an Introduction to Mindfulness workshop for the CFC sector heads and Social Justice team. Source Wellness is also sharing their Mindful DEI program recordings with the Social Justice Sector team so that they can learn about the crucial intersection of DEIMW.

About:

The Charter for Compassion (CFC) supports the emergence of a global movement that brings CFC to life. To do so, they are a network of networks, connecting organizers and leaders from around the world, providing educational resources, organizing tools, and avenues for communication; sharing lessons, stories, and inspiration; they provide the umbrella of the Charter for Compassion for conferences, events, collaborations, conversations and initiatives to create compassionate communities and institutions.

The Social Justice Sector inspires compassionate, just actions in all areas of human social endeavors by connecting, supporting, promoting, challenging and championing social justice locally and globally. They do so by bringing together diverse people from all over the world to find ways to improve access to social justice.

Partnership:

Source Wellness is a corporate partner for Brooklyn Community Pride Center’s workforce development program Pride Path. LGBTQ+ Americans face discrimination at every stage in the employment process. Especially for young professionals, gaining meaningful work experience can mean the difference between just finding a job and building a long-term career. Pride Path is an internship program for high-potential LGBTQ+ young adults at the beginning of their careers. Pride Path can help nurture the next generation of LGBTQ+ leaders while helping Source Wellness with business needs. Brooklyn Community Pride Center provides the training, funding, and support. Source Wellness provides access to opportunities for professional and personal growth.
