Colette brings humility and compassion to her work at the crossroads of Mindfulness and DEI in an effort to honor the depth and commonality of our human existence by bringing together her training and experience in Public Health, Mindfulness Facilitation and Intercultural/Interdisciplinary Assessment and Training. Her work as a Mindfulness Instructor is grounded the in 20+ years of mediation and yoga practice that has supported her as an entrepreneur, single mother and fellow human. She currently teaches Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) in healthcare and correctional facilities.


She is experienced and trained in Trauma Aware, Resilience Oriented Practice and Embodied Social Justice, worked for many years developing cross-cultural community health programs, and is the mother of a multi-racial son. She has worked extensively with examining and uprooting her own biases and relationship to power and privilege, and is called to guide others in navigating their own journeys towards transforming and healing systems of oppression.


Colette holds an MA in Organizational Management, BS in Public Health is a Qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Instructor, RYT200 and Qualified Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Administrator.
